Draw a Background

It was way easy for me to create the background in flash because, it's easier to draw lines and shapes. it's more exact. Also I finished faster than doing it on paper.

What did you learn from creating a game with paper and pencil?
I learned that it's way easier using creativity than doing it on flash.

What was easy about drawing your hidden object game? What was hard?
Everything was easy to draw. The hard part was deciding where to hide the objects.

I still need to add more details.

Plan Game scene

My vision for this game is going to be, very challenging, and fun. My game will have hidden objects such as, football gear, and human body parts. My game will give out facts which are 10 in total. Each fact is achieved every time the player finds the hidden object. Therefore there are 10 hidden objects. What excites me about this game is, the difficulty to find the hidden objects.

Frankenstorm 2012

I don't have any relatives that live in New York City, but I do have a friend that lives up north. If I were to create a game about Frankenstorm, I would title it ''Frankenstorm strikes'' The game's setting would take place in the aftermath of  NYC. And since an aftermath is highly detailed with destruction, It's easy for me to hide objects which are, survivors, and facts.

1.My big subject area is football injuries.

2.One really important thing I learned about this subject is that football injuries lead to depression, low intelligence, brain damage, low life span, and maybe even death.

3.People should learn how to avoid football injuries by playing safe and developing safer football equipment.

4.My hidden object game will teach people how to avoid football injuries by giving them facts about football injuries and how they affect put human body.

Choosing A Topic

I chose to focus on football injuries, because it's a thing most athletes go through, and they don't know the consequences they may go through. My game will have many hidden messages referring to facts about football injuries and what not. Not only I want my game simple, but I want it educational, and entertaining. My game will show the player how to find hidden objects,  such as football gear, and human parts like limbs, head, and brain by helping the player by giving him/her clues.

What are the problems that Malala and her people face each day?They lost the right to go to school. And they live every day knowing that it could be their last.

Presidential Debate 1

I think that the debate was a little off hand, because they were just talking bad about each other back and forth. Romney kept asking Obama for his presidential record, which is not very balanced. What I understood from their arguments was nothing but lies. Everytime they say they want to get rid of a law for example, they end up approving it. What I didn't understand, was that both presidents basically have no differences. In my point of view, both are going for one goal which just doesn't satisfy us. I think neither did a good job, in expressing themselves.  They repeat the same lines that just won't come true.

Reflect on what you learned by playing these games. What kind of ideas did you get for your own game?

I got many ideas like making a game more challenging, I could also make a game where one can learn something while having fun by finding hidden objects that have to do with brief history, and one of my favorite games is "Hidden Wonders", this game is entertaining, because you really have to read carefully in order to understand what's going on. For example, you get a clue and it's the Efiel tower, if you don't know the tower's location, you must read in order to find the hidden wonder. This game is simple, yet complicated. Although the game is short it can also get dull by playing it over and over again. If this game had more levels, then it would be more entertaining.

Danger Of A Single Story

1.What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community?
A single story is whenever some is a stereotype to someone else, and assumes that person's personality to be like the rest like his race or nationality. For example, one person takes a look at a African American, that person sees the subject's appearance the African American is sagging, and has a negative face, this is where the person thinks bad about the African American. First thing that comes in mind is that the African American guy will commit a crime just like the rest of the African Americans. But just because he looks like that doesn't mean he's a dangerous person. He/she could be respectful.

2.Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community?
I've heard from my friend from Iraq that he would get beat up in the streets only because the way he looked and where he came from. The thing that was missing in that story is that things haven't changed a lot like he was expecting. So the suggestion I have for him is to show the community who he is and his actual personality.

A New Year

So far this school, has been "ok'. I like the fact that the teachers are like snowflakes, each is unique in many ways. my expectations are that teachers to have a very eclectic way of teaching us. So far things are what I've expected. One thing I disliked is the traffic jam in our school. Because of that, it's harder to make it to class on time. I still think they should improve lunch, the food is a little unhealthy. Another thing I dislike is schedule change. Since there was many errors with us the students schedules, we had to wait for our new and improved schedules. That held us back a little. One thing that I really like is that we'll be having sports, and seasons. Also i'm hoping for extra curricular activities like guitar classes. But like I said this school has improved.

I think that this documentary is going to be about eating healthier, and facts about junk food.


2.What do you think the title implies or indicates about the film?
I think the fork represents a small portion of something healthy while the knives represents something large and unhealthy.


Majority of the Americans today face deceases, like diabetes. Many citizens die each year by causes of the food we eat. Today 1 out of 4, 4 year old kids are exaggerated obese.
People that are obese can get heart attacks which are caused by a blockage in the artillery. Once there is a blockage  blood can not flow to the heart, the result, a heart attack. So in order to prevent a heart attack, surgeons replace that artillery with another, which is known as the bypass surgery. This allows the blood to travel. During Norway, Germans occupied all meat and diary, which caused mortality rate to decrease dramatically, but later it increased since war stopped.

I'd like to make few changes to the game, like add questions for the audience to answer, and patch glitches in the game just to make it a little more challenging.

Respect

Respect is a word that basically represents every word there is that makes someone feel good. When you treat someone with respect you are a descent person that cares about others. Respect cannot be seen or touched, but it can be felt, and noticed. People whom have respect are really hard to find. Respect has endless definitions, each describes part of it. Respect should be used everyday, everywhere, specially on the ones we don't get along with.

In the video I hard many things that were really bad in Indonesia and there is a terrible place to live in, they barely get any food to eat or if they are sick they have to either pick a choice of getting medicine or food.Nike factory's in Indonesia are just terrible as it wasn't that they have to live under these conditions of there country, they work almost everyday and all day as well and for only 1.25 for their work which is a terrible thing and also if the workers do something bad like talk to the CEO Phill Knight, of the Nike factory there, they get beat, sentenced to jail, or death and I think that this is really bad because no one there has education,and many sport stars get so much money for just advertising the shoes and I just hate that they wont donate money at all.In another video a guy name Michael Moore goes to talk to Phill Knight to convince him to go to Indonesia to show him around the factory and explain what it is like, but Knight doesn't want to go and Michael tries to make him donate money to schools, but he still says no and he says that why doesn't he build a factory here in Flint but Knight said that no American wants to work at a shoe company, but Michael proved Knight wrong and tons of people wanted to work for him, but Knight said that he still doesn't believe that they want to work for him

1) What do you learn in Globaloria?

I learned how to use Flash to make our games that we make every year and we learn more as we advanced and we learned how to put the coding in our Flash to make our games move and progress, also we learned to upload images and my typing skills have improved by a lot and this is making computer using more easier.This skill will help me if I want to be a game designer but I don't want to be one and It will help me in my career to help me save my progress and makes me using the computer easier.

Game Design is making a game or creating a game so that other people can enjoy it and learn things in the game or nothing at all just for entertainment.

Game Mechanics is how the game will work and how the game works like adding sound or the controls or how the game looks.

Gamefication is putting in more game elements such as if you do something you will get an award or where to contact the service.

My Gaming Habits

5 hours everyday, I play nonstop. Sometimes I would secretly when i'm grounded. I would do anything just to pass a level/stage. I play console games like battle field 3, black ops, and other first person shooter games. I started playing game since I was 5. The console I daily play with is the Playstation 3 also known as N00B CRUSH3R. Anyway thank god i don'd have a curfew. the only time my parents limit me on playing is when I do something i'm not supposed to do. Chances are that videogames get people addicted right away. And there is no cure for it. So beware.
